In line with its commitment to build stronger, safe and healthy communities Mid & East Antrim Borough Council committed to developing a public park on a 3.2ha site adjacent to the local community centre. The vision was to transform a closed site and create a public park that would provide a popular community space with an array of walkways, wildlife, wildflowers, trees and wetland areas.
E Quinn Civils Ltd, working collaboratively with Project Managers, WDR & RT Taggart have recently completed this project. Through the construction of this public park we have helped further enhance the offering within the village of Ahoghill, improved the quality of life for those living in the area and provided enhanced attractions of the area for future development.
